In 2013 the new iPad and iPhone with Wi-Fi Gigabit (802.11ac)

     Apple could decide to take on the 2013 models of the iPhone and iPad the new chip from Broadcom BCM4335 presented this week, with advanced features for the Wi-Fi. The chip BCM4335 is one of the first solutions for the consumer market to support the new standard 802.11ac (5G WiFi), with a speed of data transmission up to three times higher than that possible with current technology.

     The tangible benefits will not only download HD content from the web, but also the battery life of the new smartphones. Using a much shorter time in transmitting data, the new chip can be put almost immediately into power saving mode, showing up to six times more economical use of existing 802.11n solutions.

     Waiting for the new chip Wi-Fi revolutions services on mobile terminals, it seems very likely the presence of Broadcom BCM4334 chip on 'iPhone to be unveiled in the autumn, with the opportunity for Apple to implement support Wi-Fi Direct on its new smartphone.
