According to reliable sources, Apple is preparing to leave on the next iPhone OS 6 tested the Google maps in favor of a new application developed internally. The new application should be similar to the current Google Maps user interface, while offering more fluid and clean user interface and additional features.
To characterize the new application will be especially the 3D display mode, based on technology developed by companies Placebase, C3 Technologies and Poly9, all acquired by Apple in recent months.
